Jamalyn Peigh Williamson

Jamalyn and her husband David lived in Fondwa, Haiti from 2003-2005 and consider Fondwa like home. Before founding Project Rouj, Jamalyn held a variety of roles in the United Methodist Church as an ordained Elder. Outside the office, Jamalyn loves hanging out with her family, watching sports, and drinking coffee with friends.

Buffy Perkins

Buffy hails from Carmel, IN. Before joining the Project Rouj team, she worked as an IT Consultant and ran her own firm. When she’s not bringing Jamalyn’s dreams to life, she enjoys spinning, traveling, hiking with her husband, and visiting with family.   

Chris Van Allen

Director of Donor Development

Chris first visited Fondwa in 2014 and fell in love with the community. After finishing his undergraduate degree at Indiana University, he was our in-country coordinator from 2018-2020. Chris also holds a Masters of Public Affairs and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, with a specialization in international development. Chris brings professional fundraising experience, having helped facilitate over $9 million in funds raised throughout his career. When not working, Chris enjoys all things music, Liverpool Football Club, spending time with friends and family, and finding new books to read

Luckner Raymond

Director of Haitian Operations

Raised in Fondwa, Haiti, Luckner graduated from St. Antoine School and studied Management at the University of Fondwa. He is the co-founder of Project Rouj and has been working to manage building projects for Fondwa families. Luckner brings a strong combination of field and technical experience to our team, as well as an inspiring spirit.

Makendy Sanon

Assistant Project Manager
 

Makendy was born in Delmas, Port-au-Prince. His father is from Fondwa, and Makendy moved back to Fondwa when he was 11 for better security. Makendy graduated from St. Antoine and continued into college at the University of Fondwa to study management. He has worked with World Concern as a liaison and volunteered for the Swiss Red Cross for four years. Makendy also worked as a secretary for APF. As of March 2020, he is the newest project manager for Project Rouj, where he hopes to help further develop Fondwa and construct a better life for his family.

Sherlyne Jospeh

Homeowner Liason

Sherlyne is a resident of Fondwa. She was born in Port-au-Prince, but her family has roots in Fondwa. Sherlyne completed secondary school in Leogane. In 2005, she started an internship with APF working as an animator, and working with APF’s tree nursery. In this role, Sherlyne helped reforest Fondwa and provide better soil conditions for residents to farm. She also performed quarterly land inspections. In 2016, Sherlyne was married and now has a little boy. Sherlyne has good experience with ways to achieve transformation in Fondwa and is excited to be working with Project Rouj.

Venise Baptiste

Office Manager

Venise was born in Fondwa and lives at home with her parents.  Her father is a farmer in Fondwa along with her mother.  She has one sister and four brothers.  Venise graduated number 1 in her class from the St. Antoine School in Fondwa.  She also has a degree in Management from the University of Fondwa.  Venise joins the Project Rouj team in Haiti as the Office Manager.
